Xingbao Chen: earned his B.S. in Material Forming and Control Engineering from Hubei University of Technology, Hubei, China, and acquired his M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, Hubei, China. He is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Auckland under the guidance of Dr. Ziyun Wang and Prof. Paul Kilmartin. He specializes in designing catalysts aimed at enhancing CO2 electrochemical reduction performance and unraveling their mechanisms through meticulous in-situ and ex-situ characterization. He joined Dr. Wang’s group in September 2024.
