Yingxin Li: started her undergraduate studies in science at the University of Auckland, majoring in food science. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree, she then pursued an honors degree, and in August 2022, she graduated with her honors degree in Food Science with first-class honors. She decided to study further and started her PhD in November 2022. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, she switched from food science to chemistry science, taking on the challenge of studying a new path focusing on integrating CO2 reduction with food applications. She joined Dr Ziyun Wang’s group in early 2023.
